Sub: Tamil Nadu Medical Services – Filling up of the vacant Posts of Associate Professor  by promotion - counseling dates – informed – Regarding.

Ref: Government Letter No.15671/A1/09, Health and Family Welfare Department, dated 15/04/2009.

As instructed in the Government letter cited, it is proposed to conduct promotion counseling for filling up of the vacant posts of Associate Professor in the Government Medical Colleges, as detailed in the Annexure.

The  Head of the Institutions are requested to circulate the counseling dates to all the Medical Officers working under their control and the acknowledgement may be obtained individually without fail..

It may be informed that the Medical Officer who is senior and eligible for promotion absents himself / herself for counseling it will be treated as Deemed to have been relinquished his / her right for promotion,  temporarily for three years.

They are also requested to furnish the up to date service particulars (in duplicate) in respect of the Medical Officers who are attending the promotion counseling along with the proforma duly filled in and signed.

This may be treated as ‘MOST URGENT’ and action should be taken immediately.
