Respected Sir,
We present our respects and affectionate Greetings from the Tamil Nadu Govt. Doctors Association.
The association wishes to bring it to your notice of the following issue and pray your intervention in it, sir.
The extension of service after superannuation is NOT given to any doctors, officers or medical college professors for the past several decades as it would block the promotion opportunities of the juniors in the field.
The association also, by policy opposes extension of service to any one.
Now it is learnt that a proposal is sent to the govt. to extend the service to Prof. Surendran, Gastroentrologist, Stanley Medical College. This will block the promotion opportunities of the juniors.
Moreover it will set a false precedent in the Tamilnadu Medical Service and pave way for many aspirations.
So, sir, the association plead you to intervene and stop the process.
